2026 East Coast Trip - WPCS & CCAA

 
Current 7th graders and 6th graders who plan on attending a WPCS campus will have the amazing opportunity to participate in the 2026 East Coast trip!

7th & 8th Grade Supply List

 
7th Grade:
  • Sturdy, 1 ½ - 2” binder
  • Pencil/Pen pouch for binder
  • Colored Pencils
  • 2 Pencils
  • Pocket Dividers for a binder or 4 pocket folders
  • Red Pens
  • Dark Blue or Black ink pens (no gel pens)
  • 2 college rule notebooks
  • Pencil Sharpener w/catcher for shavings
  • Green and Yellow highlighters
  • Headphones for the computer (no airpods/Bluetooth headphones) Plug-in only.
8th Grade: 
  • One 1.5-2" binder with dividers for your 6 classes (and we recommend a small supply of binder paper)
  • Three composition notebooks (one for Ms. Yue, two for Mr. Crum)
  • Pencils
  • Pencil sharpener (recommended)
  • Colored pencils and/or markers
  • Highlighters - at least 2 different colors
  • Small pair of scissors
  • Casio fx-260 Solar Function Calculator or newer ($10 at Walmart; please write your name on it)

8th Grade Promotion Requirments

 
Requirements for Participation in the Promotion Ceremony

Students who do not meet the minimum requirements for participation will not be permitted on stage the evening of June 5th. However, they are welcomed to be in the audience during the ceremony provided they are in the company of a parent/guardian. Students may also be in the group picture which will be taken at 5:00 p.m. the night of promotion, and may take part in the reception following the ceremony.

 The reasons for non-participation are noted below:
  • The student did not achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (C) with ability level taken into consideration.
  • The student has an F in the last trimester.
  • The student has not completed all 15 hours of Community Service.
  • The student has not completed all Field Study Day Reports.
  • The student does not have an attendance rate of 85% which includes early outs, tardies, and all absences.
  • The student is on a Level 3 Behavior Plan.
